Database-Level Roles documentation in BOL

All,
Looks like there is a typo that I noticed while preparing a SOX document.
The Sub section says "Working with server-level roles" but it should be
"Working with Database-level roles", correct. The same with
"The following table explains the commands, views and functions for working
with server-level roles."

install ssis on windows server 2003

Hi there,
I can't install SSIS service on my windows 2003 server.
SSIS service won't show up in the SQL Server Configuration Manager's
services list after i perform a full install from SQL Server 2005 SE
installation CD on my server. During this install I've selected a choice for
'Integration Services'.

Large Log File

Hello,
i have a merge replicated database (3 GB) with a log file that grown to 38
GB.
The recovery Model is simple.
DBCC Shrinkfile doesnt works.
DBCC OPENTRAN say:
Replizierte Transaktionsinformationen:
Oldest distributed : (0:0:0)
Oldest non-distributed LSN : (297400:25:1)
What can i do, to shrink the log file?

adding a third subscriber, can't impersonate agent process account

Hello guys,
we've got a little problem with adding the second node to the second
instance.
Everything works fine with the first instance.
The failover cluster is configured active/passive.
We've got 2 2008 R2 x64 Servers & SQL server 2008 SP1
We've added the second instance over add/remove programs sql server/change.

We have customers that don't use replication, and some that use merge
replication.
I need a command able to be executed in a stored procedure that will
tell me is this SQL Server is a subscriber in a replication environment.
that is all i need to know. Something like:

Wait on the Database Engine recovery handle failed during setup

Trying to install SQL 2008 (no SP) on a 64 bit Win7 machine and get the
subject error. Everything I've found researching this error refers to this
happening during an upgrade from SQL 2005. In my case this is not an
upgrade. The machine has never had SQL on it before.
