Getting Started with SQL Express 2008

Hello:
Well, I downloaded it. I think I installed it right, but I do
not know enough to be sure. Now, what?
Can someone please point me to what I need to study to get going?
I do not want a huge list as much as I want a map. What should I
study first?
Sincerely,
Gene Wirchenko

Replication between SQL Servers 2003 and 2008

I have a push merge replication running well on 2003 and we're trying to
migrate to a 'cloud' server running 2008. Before we switch all sites to
2008, I need to replicate from 2003 to 2008 and I can't register the 2008
instance in SQL Enterprise Manager and can't seem to find any way of
replicating to the new box. Any pointers, hints? TIA, Ross

Merge Replication: user trigger issuu

Hello all,
We have a trigger defined on table x which gets executed when an update is
on a column. The trigger is executing properly on publisher side.
But when we do update on subscriber side to that particular column, trigger
doesnt execute.
While publishing I had user defined triggers true for the table.
