We currently have 2 servers: A and B.
Server A contains a production version of a SQL Server 2008 database
and B contains a development version of that database.
We wish to establish a replication of these databases as

Clustering SQL 2008 R2 with SQL 2008

Hello,
Can a SQL 2008 R2 box be joined to an existing SQL 2008 cluster that's not
running R2? If so, are there any known issues?
My understanding with clustering is that the versions of the boxes need to
match, especially when it comes to things like installing patches.
Therefore, to my knowledge, the above is not possible.
