Could not get connected to SQL Server 2008

Hi, all gurus,
I installed the SQL Server 2008 on Win2008, on the server side, I could
access the database, but with the management studio, I could not find
any instances, and I could not access the database on the client side
within the same LAN. The client PC runs on Win7.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi,
We already create an Active/Passive 2 node Hyper-V Cluster, but now, we
need 2 node Active/Active cluster.
Is it possible? How can we do it?

Hi I have trouble with kerberos authetication from IIS server that
connect to the SQL Server . How I enable kerberos authetication in the
SQL cluster ? I have In the cluster 3 SQL instances , how I create SPN
for this ?

Hello,
I'm hoping someone can help me.
I'm currently in the process of installing a SQL Cluster on Windows 2008 Ent
Edition using Windows Clustering. The SQL Cluster Completion Wizard failed,
of which I initiated an uninstall of the SQL 2008 Software. However, I'm now
getting the following error when the uninstall process fails to complete:

Job Fails to Linked Server

Server A: SQL 2008
Server B: SQL 2005
I am running a job on Server A that executes a stored procedure, but I get
this error:
Access to the remote server is denied because the current security context
is not trusted. [SQLSTATE 42000]
I can execute the stored procedure in management studio and it runs fine.

Uncooperative MSDTC Instance

I can't get my MSDTC instance to move to another node. . . .unless I down
the node where it's running. Then, the instance will travel. What's up
with that?
Can I just create another instance?
I've got three nodes in my W2K8 cluster. I have no other problems except

in my Virtual Cluster the Attributes of the Server configuration is as follow:
VMWare: Cluster configuration
OS: WServer2003R2 SP2
SQL2005 SP3
2 virtual servers
2 SQL Virtual Instances installed
