Cluster service is attempting to failover the cluster resource gro

The SQL cluster is not failover over to another node. Can anyone shed some
light in to this. I have checked the config on the cluster administrator side
and it all seems correct to me. The event id appeared is 1153 event source:
clussvc.
In theory the cluster is not working if a disaster happens. A manual reboot

Managing Cluster Log Turnover

Can anyone suggest a best practice for maintaining cluster.log history? I
know there are environment variables that control the log size and a few
other things, but I've seen no good way of handling log rollover.

Expand 2-node SQL 2005 cluster to 3-node

Hi
We have a 2-node cluster running Enterprise x64 SQL 2005 on W2K3. We
wish to install additional instances to assist management. We intend
to expand to a 3-node A-A-P cluster. Currently the heartbeat is
running via a cross-over cable with the private network being
prioritised.for internal communication.

Node refuses to release clustered disk resource

Good morning, all -
Two node SQL 2008 cluster attaching to SAN storage. Dual path software in
place on both nodes. On a failover attempt (planned or unplanned), the
cluster controller node will not allow clustered disks (including quorum
resource) to failover unless a complete reboot is performed. For some reason,
