SQL Villain

image I have always rooted for the underdog and villain. Didn’t you ever wish Destro would kick Duke’s ass just once. Not to mention, villains and heroes walk a thin line. For example, Claire and Sylar in the current season of Heroes. Uhuh, what is up with that?

The only time I ever saw the villain really win was in the original Nightmare on Elm Street. I am sure there are plenty of others but they do not count because they were not memorable(for me).

As much as I would like to be a SQL Villain, I got nominated as a SQL Hero. It was for my QPee Tools which I blogged about here.

Bart Duncan(A very smart guy on the SQL dev team), I think, coined the term plan and query fingerprinting here. That is a must read link. Michael Zilberstein also talks about the feature that this tool was built around here.

Anyway, I am not asking you to vote for me unless you think QPee deserves it but try out the tools and vote! Lots of cool stuff there. The survey is here:
