The T’aint

TAINT

If you don’t get it, bless your heart. If you do, don’t cry foul because you do not learn this phrase in Sunday School. Besides, it is ALWAYS the network!

"It's ALWAYS the network!"

Amen! They always have their fancy graphical network monitors that say "see everything is fine here"... They don't even really look, they just glance to a monitor and say nope, not us. So I go back, I get even more dmv/perfmon/etc. data and come back and say, "look, it really isn't my database, here is more proof can you PLEASE check a bit more thoroughly!!!" They will eventually check, go away for a little while and the user will suddenly report that everything is fine all of the sudden... Network team comes back, wasn't us, not sure what it was. Yeah Right!

;-)
